Protection of the environment must be a priority if we wish to conserve natural resources. In TS Fundiciones we strive to reduce the environmental impact that may be created by both the work we carry out aswell as the products that we make.

In fact we are the first foundry to obtain the Integrated Environmental Authorization (IEA), which involves the use of the best available technology so that our products are manufactured using cleaner and safer technologies, to minimize workplace risks and environment impacts.

In addition to the environmental aspect, in our new plant we have used innovative constructive solutions aimed also in improving the quality of the working environment.

• Internal and external soundproofing.
• Installation of suction by filter bags.
• Pioneering technology and unequalled in the aspiration of smoke generated in the nodularizing process.
• Recovery and reuse of sand with mechanical regeneration systems of 30 tonnes/per hour and 20 tonnes/per hour. With which we achieve that 95% of the sand that we use is recycled.

All staff activities generate some type of impact on the natural environment. The objective is that as far as it is possible, the occurrence of these impacts is acceptable in terms of the profi ts earned.

In TS Fundiciones we continuously investigate to maximize the effi ciency of the process and to reuse materials that have been used therein. Thus we minimize the environmental impact and contribute with our small but effective help to achieve a more sustainable environment.
